Acute Infectious Keratoconjunctivitis is a condition characterized by the acute inflammation of the cornea (the transparent front part of the eye) and the conjunctiva (the thin, clear tissue that covers the white part of the eye and lines the inside of the eyelids). It is typically caused by a viral or bacterial infection and is highly contagious. Symptoms may include redness, irritation, watery discharge, discomfort, and blurred vision
